What is Rewilding?

You will learn about; large scale ecosystem restoration and natural processes. Medium and small scale rewilding projects. Keystone species and the reintroduction of wolves, beavers, bison and other species. Benefits of rewilding and objections to rewilding. Small scale projects and the importance of rewilding our own hearts and minds.

How to rewild your school grounds.

You will learn about; Habitats and Species, the importance of native hedgerows, grass margins, wildflower meadows, spring meadows, orchards, wildlife ponds, climbing plants and wilding more formal areas of your school grounds. You will learn how to create your own school rewilding management plan and how to present this plan to your head teacher and ground maintenance team.

Keystone People and how to shape the future.

You will learn about; The power of stories and how they shape our cultures. The ancient and indigenous wisdom cultures and the importance of an animate worldview. How to create a regenerative story, how to develop your own relationship with Great Nature and the more than human world, and how nature can support your health and wellbeing.
